IRA Rollover
Congress has passed a two-year extension of the IRA Rollover provision. Individuals age 70 1/2 or older may transfer $100,000 per year from an IRA to a charity tax free. Consider this alternative way of giving.

The American Civil War Center at Historic Tredegar is made possible through the generosity of donors who believe in our mission “to tell the whole story of the conflict that still shapes our nation.” An initial capital campaign raised $13.6 million for adaptive reuse of the 1861 Gun Foundry and to fabricate the exhibit In the Cause of Liberty. Now the Center seeks annual support. Gifts of more than $500,000 in each of our first two years of operation have made possible our success. |
